electronic means, about any other candidate for any office. All candidates, EXCEPT
those filing for the office of Grand Secretary or Grand Treasurer, shall fill out a
Uniform Candidate Information Sheet to be sent to all Chapters with Notice of Filings
and be printed in the Advanced Reports for the Grand Chapter Session. The resumes of
the candidates for the offices of Grand Secretary and Grand Treasurer shall also be
included with the Notice of Filing for Office. A candidate may not circulate anything

candidate. Electioneering shall be defined to mean a member soliciting another
member or members, either orally or in writing, by a letter, circular letter, pamphlet,
cards, favors, electronic means, et cetera, to vote for or against any other candidate for
office. Electioneering is asking or telling others to vote for a candidate instead of
oneself A candidate does not have the right or privilege to "give up" his or her votes
to another candidate. Introduction of candidates does not constitute electioneering as
above defined. Therefore, once the official Grand Chapter Candidate filing notification
and Uniform Candidate Information Sheet issued by the Grand Secretary has been
received and read by Chapter Secretaries in their respective Chapters, candidates for
Grand Chapter offices may be introduced at all Chapters, luncheons, dinners and other
Eastern Star functions. Only those candidates in attendance at any Eastern Star
function will be
so introduced.
